The Mundelein Fire Association hosts an annual Pancake Breakfast and fundraising Raffle. All you can eat pancakes are served with a side of sausage, milk, coffee, and juice.

Raffle tickets are available by mail or simply stopping by either of the fire stations. For more than 75 years, The Mundelein Fire Association has worked to improve the Fire and Rescue services for the citizens and businesses in our community.

Today, the Insurance Services Office rates The Mundelein Fire Department in the top 2% of Illinois Fire Departments. Our emergency medical service continues to be state of the art. We continue to operate 4 fully equipped MICU Ambulances, 3 Engines, 1 Ladder Truck, 1 Rescue Squad and multiple staff vehicles.

In 2008, your Fire Department responded to 2,963 calls, including 1,684 emergency medical calls and 1,279 fire calls. Your two fire stations are staffed by 26 career and 16 paid-on call firefighters, who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle your emergency needs.

The proceeds from our Breakfast and Raffle make possible Firefighting and Life Safety Equipment that would otherwise not be available. We are continuing to expand our knowledge levels and training skills to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.

This is our only fundraiser for the year. Thank you for your continued kindness and support. It is because of your help that we are better equipped to serve you and our community. We look forward to seeing you at our Pancake Breakfast.
