The Mundelein Fire Department is in the process of updating our Strategic Plan for the next three (3) years. Today’s fire service is faced with ever increasing demands as we deliver fire, emergency medical, fire prevention and specialized services to our residents as well as visitors to our community.
Planning is essential for any public safety agency to make the best use of those resources that you provide to us through your tax dollars and support of various programs. Strategic planning considers both internal and external forces that impact our ability to create a service delivery profile that meets the needs of our community and promotes a safe living environment. By creating a strategic plan we design the guide that assists our decisions and actions through a visionary process, rather than reacting or making decision day-to-day. The following pages contain a brief Survey of our services and we are asking you to take a few moments to give us your feedback on how we are doing. You are a stakeholder in our operation and your opinion will help shape the future of the Mundelein Fire Department. This survey is randomly being distributed to our residents and can also be accessed on-line on the fire department page of the Village of Mundelein website www.mundelein.org.
